FEATURED PROJECT

The Kingsland Project | A Study in Contrast

The Kingsland project was a full refresh of the living room and kitchen for a beautiful family who realized it was finally time for their home to reflect them. After moving in, the spaces remained largely untouched — white walls throughout, with a single dark grey moment in the kitchen eat-in area. It felt neutral… but not personal.

We reimagined the living room with intention and depth, introducing architectural interest through added crown molding and a rich, layered palette. The walls were enveloped in Sherwin Williams Aegean Teal, while the fireplace was finished in Sherwin Williams Rock Garden in a high gloss for contrast and drama. A stunning rug from Hasan’s anchored the space with glorious color, setting the tone for new lighting, a custom upholstered chair, thoughtful storage, and curated accessories. The result is moody, expressive, and deeply reflective of the family who gathers there.

In contrast, the kitchen took a brighter, more tailored turn. We wrapped the walls in Phillip Jeffries Vinyl Solstice Silk in Cosmic Blue, creating a luminous backdrop that elevates the everyday. A custom banquette maximizes both space and connection, paired with aDovetail table and Rowe seating for warmth and durability. Two spaces, two distinct moods — one cohesive story. A home that finally feels like it belongs to the people living inside it.
